Can style 172M (550i) wheels fit on a 335i coupe w/ sports package?

My mom recently leased a 550i with the M-package wheels...(19" Light-alloy wheels Double Spoke (style 172M) with mixed performance tires..from bmwusa.com) I was wondering if these wheels would fit properly onto my car, an e92 335i. Also, would my style 189 whells fit properly onto her 550i? I have talked to her about it an she couldnt care what wheels she has on the car so as long as I can prove to her that there would be no safety or performance issues. If someone can do a photoshop of these wheels on a montego blue e92 335i I would really appreciate it. Im not sure but I think it would give the car a more aggressive look. Thanks for any input.

I believe the front offset is too low for the e9x.

Those wheels look great. OT - I love the 550i. I priced it out last night on the BMW site and optioned out the way I'd like it, it came out to more than optioning out an E90 M3 (I think it was $69K versus $64K). At those prices, I'd pick the M3.

+1 Isn't the 5er's front offset something in the low 20s? WAY too low for the e90.

Also the 5 series has a bigger center hub than our 3 series.

I checked it out, and the front offset is ET18 for the 172M.

I thought all BMW's had the same centerbore? Like 76mm?

No.
3 series has 72.56mm, often called 72.6mm.
5 series e39 has 74.1mm and e60 has 72.6mm.

5 series wheels will generally not fit the 3 series because their offsets are too aggressive. I would just stick with 3 series wheels.

they are great looking wheels, too bad they won't fit. Do they make replicas in that style yet? Probably one of the best OEM BMW wheels IMO.
