F22 Gloss A/C Trim.

Hello all,

I have recently picked up a M235i. I have noticed some 2 series come with a gloss black trim around the a/c and radio buttons. I was wondering if anyone has figured out the part no to this trim. I changed this trim on my old F30 to gloss and it lifted the feel of the interior.

I have attached picture for reference.

Most be an option in other markets cause here in the USA we don't have those A/C controls. Look nice btw...

I thought that was an option on the 4 series only.

That console doesn't look like any M235i I have ever seen.

Doesn't have dual climate so it's probably European? And a very base trim at that...

My 228I sport line cab has the glossy surrounding, Shouldn't be hard to find.

From what I understand, all 2,3,4 series models produced after March of 2015 will have the gloss black AC trim.

Yes the a/c dials are different to what's in my m235i here in Australia as well, just used the photo as a reference. I have been speaking with pasco HK and have been told they will be available soon. I assume when BMW updates the parts availability. I will update when I receive the part number if anyone else is interested in this.

Anywhere I can buy this? Not just the gloss trim but also the aluminum line surrounding the air conditioning vents.

Try your local BMW dealerships Parts department.

I don't wanna get ripped off at my local BMW dealer, they're the only one in the country unfortunately and completely unprofessional.
