Iphone Cradle Questions

Hello, guys! I have just recently purchased a CPO 335i M-Sport with Harmon-Kardon and iDrive, it came with the iphone cradle in the center console. I know they were to be used for the iPhone 4, but is there any use for it if I have an iPhone 6? Is there anyway to retrofit it?

I don't think bmw have ever made a dock for newer iPhone models
