High beam assistant
Anyone has used the high beam assistant function?
It supposes to switch the high beam on and off automatically once you activated, however, I didn't see it switching even activated. The function is sensitive to the light, but I have tried this in a undercover car park that there is very minimum lighting already, still not working. Do I need to code it? |

When turn on your high beam assist you should see a little a with high beam in the dis (little screen).
This is very very sensitive to light. Drive down the mountains / dirt road / country and you will see it switch to and from high to low. Reflections from signs, street lights will trigger it to turn off. Basically has to be pitch black where you are driving. Even in foggy conditions it will turn off high beam due to your bi-xenons reflecting off the fog. |

Ic.
30-40kpm, no wonder it doesn't switch when I was in the car park with very minimum light source. Thanks! But I found that the adaptive headlight is good. I am going to change the cornering light to white LED. |

I've tried it on both MB and BMW on drives to Melbourne and back and I found the MB one to be slightly better at it. BMW one was a touch to quick to turn off. The Merc was a bit more human-like but the BMW highbeam was better anyway.
