I tried researching and didn't find anything concrete, I think my cable snapped I'm the hood where it splits into 2, the latch is still attached with a cable.... I tried removing front grill but not sure what to do from there...

You can access the junction box by removing the driver side fender liner. Does both latch not open?

I just hope you didn't have the same problem as I did where the cable slipped out of the passenger latch assembly.

I had this problem last year and had to basically pry the bumper out of the way to get to the latch assembly to release the hood. It didnt really mess it up to bad, but I was putting a new bumper on anyway so I didnt care. Kind of a PIA tho.

Neither one of the latches work so I'm assuming it slipped out of the junction box where the cable divides into 2

Any updates on the fix? I was thinking you could remove the front bumper but then I remembered the 4 bolts under the hood must be removed.

No I'm still scratching my head... I'll take off the driver wheel well and see what I can access

Silly/stupid question... Are you sure you didn't just break the pull-handle itself? I had to replace mine over the winter because the little plastic "fins" that connect the handle to the cable got brittle with the cold and just gave out..

Before you go ripping into the body of the car I'd get a screw driver and make sure your culprit isn't just this $9 piece of plastic.. http://www.ecstuning.com/ES91681/

I went down and looked over the handle, it's still pulling the cable attached to it, good point though
