F36 side skirt decal

Hello I have a F36 alpine white sport line and was thinking about that black decal on the side skirts that goes along with all the black trim on my car. I have sport line which doesn't have the lines that the decal fits into. I wonder if it would work just putting it in the regular side skirt. It should right?!? Was wondering if anyone did it. Also think it would help protect during winter time

I'm not sure but another way you could go about this is to go to a wrap/decal guy and have them wrap your side skirt for you in the OEM black decal style. It'll probably be cheaper then going OEM and will be custom tailored to your car.
anyways best of luck, your car will look awesome with it!

Why not get the black side sills/blades that attach to the bottom of the side skirt instead?

There should be no difference in how the side sills attach for M Sport or Sportline

They look like that, but they're OEM made by BMW for the F36 and are not carbon fiber

I'm pretty sure the sides would still work, since it all mounts up to the same holes on the underside of the car. From looking at the website it will indicate if you need to have the M-Sport package, and it does not say so for this.

For instance, for the front splitter it says this

But it does not say this for the sides, and I would bet they would fit

Thanks! Will you do the soapy water application technique? Having applied vinyls on various devices this way, it seems to be the best way to allow for adjustment.
