I only use touchless car washes. Those that basically just spray water and soap at your car.

And even then, I use them primarily in the winter time and when I am strapped for time. Most carwashes do reclaim the water used and refilter for the next car. But the cleanliness of the water is dependent on how well the filters, pumps, nozzles are maintained, which can be variable.

With practice, I've gotten a handwash, dry, problem area clay, spray wax and buff to about 1.5hrs.
