License Plate Mounting

Hi, I'm new here, me and my wife just picked up our first BMW a 2015 320i, I've been trying to figure out how to mount the required California license plate on our car, I'd rather not have to drill holes for the mount that comes with it. I did find some alternatives that use the tow hook to place the mount, but my wife hates the idea, she wants it centered. Are there any center mounts available, that don't require drilling?

Do they make something like that for the F30?

Let me know how you like it once you receive it please. I had the tow hook mount and after a while absolutely hated it. The car always looked a bit odd with the tow hook as well.

Will do, just waiting for the license plates.

^^^Do you people leave your front plates on all the time? If so, why not just bite the damn bullet and drill your bumper?

I only rock a front plate if I have a fix it ticket, so I picked up a tow hook bracket.

The Skene bracket is designed so you can easily remove the plate, leaving two small brackets under the bumper. I used a matte black paint pen and painted them black.

Here's a photo with the plate removed. The brackets are all but invisible. Removal takes 10 seconds.

A simple but clean alternative is to use 3m double sided tape to directly hold the plate to the bumper. 100% reversible if you change your mind.

Magnets

But you need to take your bumper appart.

Aside from the electric retractable bracket (best solution),
The better alternative, and the simplest and cleanest application for those who dont want to put it up all the time :

Magnets.
