DFW clearbra and tint shop?
I have just placed an order for m3, December allocation. Previously, I have used tri-tek for the tint and speed shield for clearbra. Any other reputable shops in DFW area?

As far as SpeedShield I'd ask what film (for clear bra) they use as it doesn't list it on their web site. They also have it backwards imo concerning 'hand trimming'. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...ght=mario_kart Keep us posted where you do end up going for both & your experience so future posters have a good reference point. I used Speedshield in Addisson, Trey the owner is a good guy, more expensive but they hand cut all their clear bra work which looks better than computer cuts as he wraps around the edges of the car. I also had him tint with Photosync including the front windshield, not as dark but the heat rejection is amazing.

Wanween Unfortunately I will be out of town this Saturday...
I will hit you up once I get my car delivered. I had my current car clear bra @ speed shield but I was wondering if there would be any better shops nowadays. Any idea for v1 and front camera hard wiring shops? |

Houston Orona (Stratashield Customs - 214.354.3327) installed XPEL Ultimate on my GT4 earlier this month. He came highly recommended and did a great job on my car (front bumper, full hood, front fenders, rearview mirrors, rocker panel / intake). He hand cuts and wraps the edges.
Here's a link to some pictures I took during the install: https://andrewbarber.smugmug.com/Car.../XPEL-Install/

Earmark in Plano did the V1 hardwire installs on my M4 and GT4. They also did the window tint on my M4.

Just wanted to bump this. My normal go to guy for clear bra is no longer in the business and I need some work done.
I am thinking about Speed Shield, DFW Clear Bra (clearcoatfilm.com), or Clear Bra North Dallas (specially their Carrollton location). Anyone have any recent 2016/2017 experience with the above? lol. Or any other companies in in the area? My biggest concerns are attention to detail and fit/finish. I had the successor of my go to guy redone some of my film due to road debris and I'm not entirely pleased with the outcome of the new film. There is stretch marks, edges poorly cut, and a dirt speckles underneath in certain areas. They would be not noticeable to the average vehicle owner, but you know how how vehicle enthusiasts are. |

Can also try Apex in Addison. They work on a lot of high end exotics and I've worked with them before on ceramic coating just not paint protection film. Email or call and speak with Daniel he's the owner.

I used clear coat films. They precut the template but you can ask them to modify the template slighting to wrap edges. Not every edge can be changed on the template so not every edge can be wrapped. They are good and friendly people and the price could not have been beat for a full wrap.
