Stock exhaust with M Performance diffuser

I installed a M Performance rear diffuser yesterday and I was wondering if I will need to buy new tips for the stock exhaust. The tips are not close to touching the diffuser but I don't want to run into any problems later.

You'll be fine with stock tips. Diffuser was developed for the larger "M" performance tips. You'll just have a little space top to bottom - side to side.

Ok, thanks. I knew the diffuser was made for the M Performance exhaust, which is why I was wondering if I would need tips that stick out further to match the length of the M Performance exhaust. I just wanted to make sure the diffuser wouldn't get too hot and melt. As you mentioned, there is now more room between the diffuser and the exhaust tips, so hopefully I should be good.

I got larger 3.5" exhaust tips and adjusted my muffler so that the tips are less than 1/4" away from the diffuser. Never had an issue with heat. Also, I am pretty sure you can adjust the stock exhaust tips a bit too in order to bring time out further.
