Suspension help KW v3 or Pss10
Local folks, I need your help.
I have read the threads on the suspension setup and narrowed down my options to the KW v3 and the PSS10. As I live around the beltway, I wanted the feedback of local drivers on the daily drivability of the car on DC metro roads. If any local guys have the setup I would greatly appreciate a ride along maybe at Katie's or Dulles next weekend or the one after. Please let me know. Thanks! |

Thanks Soul this definitely helps and reassures me that the drop of 1" is okay.
I read in the suspension subforum that a lot of folks put HAS then move to v3. I ordered my car with regular suspension as I knew I wanted full coilovers. Now I can't decide between the PSS and KW mainly because of the below. Couple of things that stick out from my research: The KW min drop is way low vs the PSS gives more options. Some even refer to KW v3 cars as slammed on the min drop. The KW rides a bit former for daily driving vs PSS rides a bit softer if compared both at the middle setting. The PSS adjustment is preset by bilstein in the 10 settings while the KW is up to you. So effectively the KW allows more fine tuning to your liking. Some ppl have reported quality issues with the PSS 9/10, and KW had been the choice of BMW perf group in the past. Both accept ground control camber plates which I am interested in as well. Price wise they are around 500 apart kW being more expensive. If anyone can chime in any of these concerns above that would be great. |

Have you considered waiting for the BMW M Performance Coilovers that will be released sometimes mid July?

I did read about the M performance sleeve kit which is essentially KW HAS here: [Updated with Q&A] - New M4 M Performance Parts at SEMA 2015 http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1191105 This is another option to retain the warranty along with the Dinan sleeve kit around $1600 |

I don't know the full details. I've heard that there will be a sleeve and a full coilover system. It's too soon to say if it's any good. Fwiw, the system will be developed by KW. (Supposedly same system as kw has). However, I'm not sure what it will be like with full coilover. You may get a better answer in the suspension subsection of the F8x forum.

FWIW, I've had good experiences with KW products in the past.
