Hello guys, is there any way to code angel eyes for Pre-LCI F30 models like the below video?

I checked some "DIMMED" functions under FEM_BODY 3062 section but nothing changes..

Is there any way to open and close angel eyes slowly via coding? Any idea?

Well, i found the solution

For soft opening front angel eyes like F30 LCI models;

Under FEMBODY;

3062 - MAPPING_STANDL_V_L_PART_OF_WL - Ausgelesen - (instead of hard_on) do it soft_on
MAPPING_STANDL_V_R_PART_OF_WL - Ausgelesen - (instead of hard_on) do it soft_on

For soft opening and closing Rear Parking Lights (this is not available also on F30 LCI models) ;


Under REM;

3062 - MAPPING_STANDL_H2_L_PART_OF_WL - Ausgelesen -(instead of hard_on) do it soft_on
MAPPING_STANDL_H2_R_PART_OF_WL - Ausgelesen - (instead of hard_on) do it soft_on

3063 - MAPPING_SMALL_SL_L_PART_OF_WL - Ausgelesen - (instead of hard_on) do it soft_on
MAPPING_SMALL_SL_R_PART_OF_WL - Ausgelesen - (instead of hard_on) do it soft_on


Note: While coding, some of "hard_on" sections can be "not_active" instead of "hard_on", if they are "not_active"; change them to soft_on

Actually, it does the same thing with the video that i shared in my first post, the angel eyes and rear parking lights opening and closing softly, at the video you can only see the front angel eyes however with the codes, you can do the same thing for the rear parking lights

The functions for the Angel eyes Welcome lights appear to be dependent on some functions for brightness for the lights as well. I had coded the WL and it worked but after resetting some others brightness levels to 8% the feature stopped working. Recoded and it's bright and smooth again.
I think the same may be happening to the rear lights but I haven't tested those yet.

I coded my rear parking lamps but I don't think it's doing anything. Seems to close soft but start hard still.

It's really hard to get on video. I tried a couple times and failed.
I'll post my crappy videos in a minute when I'm on my laptop.
I generally know what I'm doing with photography but video that is supposed to capture extreme light changes in dark is another story.
If anyone has tips on how to get a good vid that doesn't glare up or go way out of focus let me Know and I'll try to take more vids.
Also couldn't get rears to soft_on didn't seem to have an effect for the power up.

This is my car a late build MY13 F30 335xi Pre-LCI Before and after coding the Angel Eyes Welcome Lights Feature from default hard_on to the LCI default soft_on.

I had been messing with brightness settings of my angel eyes and had them at 100% when I was first trying this part of WL function. It worked fine but after reverting to the default 8% It stopped brightening, so I changed all brightness levels to 100% again and it works again.
