Body work on 3 month old car
Bike messenger lost balance and fell onto my car on the passenger's side fender. Result, dented fender, scratched fender that needs repaint and scratched edge of hood.
As he saw me he took off. Was thinking of taking it to the Certified Collision Center in Rockville. Anyone had a bad experience with them in the past? Last edited by Fed; 12-08-2015 at 03:30 PM.. |

I've heard good things about Euro Pros Collision Center. Rockville Porsche/Audi sends all their body and paint work to there. Check them out.

I felt sorry for you up until the hating cyclists part.

Took my alpine white F31 to Rockville Collision to have the bumper replaced and repainted. I was happy with the result. Had a good recommendation for a shop in Alexandria but they were very busy.
As a DC resident and someone who ride to work almost every day, your attitude stinks. Just remember you're the one in metal cage and I and other rides have nothing to protect us. The cyclist should never have left but shit happens and you deal with it. |

I totally agree with you regarding the being mindful part. However, we are all on the road, and for the life of me, I do not understand why as a cyclist, you would not want to adhere to traffic laws, or where there is a designated bike lane would you want to ride in the middle of traffic.
I don't go out looking to run cyclists over or anything of the sort, but do complain when and it happens quite a lot in DC, cyclists believe they do not have to abide by traffic laws, such as stopping at a red light. Or in this case riding between cars in the middle of the road. |
