drilling pdc holes in plastic weld

I bought a ltmw 1m bumper which is a 1m bumper plastic welded/molded onto a f30 bumper(so the fitment is nice) and I didn't realize that the bumper did not have pdc holes so I will have to get a shop to drill them for me. is it safe to drill into a plastic weld? I wouldn't want to make it weaker or even worse have the two bumpers fall apart. but I also know nothing about plastic welding so please any advice is appreciated!

I took it to a very reputable shop in my area and the first thing they told me is they don't like working on "aftermarket bumpers" and they said since they did not do the work to make the bumper they can't trust that it will just hold together. they would do it for my but no guarantees it will turn out how I want it.

also, is there something that holds the PDC censors? like behind the bumper?

there needs to be clips on the bumper pdc holes to hold the pdc in place

Not sure if you are talking about front or rear bumper, but for rear PDC sensor, here are the mounts - BMW part #51128059970 - see roxxor's thread on DIY

Also, i just posted some drilling tips to this thread.
