Hi all, happy new year to you!

I am having an issue with my adaptive headlights and FLA high beam assist retrofit. I went from non adaptive xenons and fitted the new adaptive xenons with the used modules and then added 524 to the VO Code and coded FEM_Body and they worked, they swivel, adjust at different speeds and work fine

I then wired in the FLA camera and new stalk to the KCAN, it appears as a module in e sys and works fine when i push the button on the stalk the light appears. What it refuses to do is anti glare high beam assist it just goes on and off normally.

I have changed several settings to do with the shutter and HBA_ENA but nothing is working, the car very briefly did the anti glare high beam one evening but has never done it since its almost as if some of the coding has been kicked out by the car. I have recoded the FEM_BODY and FLA to the VO several times but nothing is working can someone please help me fix it, i dont have 5AP de coding in my VO so it should be working?

Did you swap your windshield?
Also HBA is an iDrive option on my car that I coded on even though I don't have the option. Have you activated it in iDrive?

Yes i also added it to HU_NBT and coded the new VO to this module, i didnt change the wind shield as i installed FLA not KAFAS

I was under the impression both FLA and KAFAS cameras needed new windshields, but could very well be wrong. Also I have limited experience with NBT I have a CIC on my car and my buddies car that I help with coding occasionally. I just know that once it's coded on for CIC it needs to be activated in iDrive lighting menu. Coding it on only adds the option doesn't activate it.

No this is not a menu option on NBT only CIC, the HBA does work just not the anti glare function of it

I thought that HBA only worked 100% with LED headlights, I recall reading that somewhere.

But I'll digress and assume it does, what EXACTLY did you do to code HBA?

In the UK we get glare free HBA as a package with adaptive xenon headlights and high beam assistant, our xenon's have the shutter built in so they can perform this. I added code 5AP as well as 524 when i retrofitted the adaptive xenons.

The glare free function was fully working on my drive home this evening which is so odd, but i suspect it may be as you have to drive over 50mph to get it to activate, when i slowed below 45 it shut down is this normal?
