Anyone know of any good LED conversion kits for F30 with reflector housing?
I was wondering if anyone knows of any good LED conversion kits? XenonDepot has a kit but they said that their resistors aren't plug and play and would require someone to splice or tap the wire. So are there any kits that have the plug and play resistors and bulbs that fit into the headlight housing?
Thanks in advance! |

I had the belt style in mine for a couple of weeks. Great output, just didn't care much for the light pattern of them. But there is a new kit out that supposedly has a 90% accuracy of the oem light pattern.

Botlink H7 LED Bulbs
Those are what I had. They fit in the housing just fine, just have to make sure you route all the small wires around the belts so they don't melt. I didn't use resistors, I just coded the checks out. |

I had (and still have most of them) tried a few LED/HID kit... I didn't have issues with any of them... but Adam pointed out earlier the light pattern is... well... bad.... I guess it would be ok if my other cars are not HID... its noticeable and annoying getting out of a factory HID car and get into one with bad light patterns.
I ended up changing to the EE housing, and now considering the (much) more expensive option to upgrade again to the LED aftermarket headlight housing. I also had some issues with the lights clicking in place after taking out/putting in bulbs a few times... those clips are annoying.... Anyways... I am not trying to scare you but just don't want you to have to go through what' I've been through. If I didn't get the car for a super good deal I probably would have traded it in for one with proper headlights |

hands down the phillips luxeon zes 55 watt high beam bulb is what you are looking for, virtual daylight and the beam pattern is adjustable to stop, or minimize on coming glare..

Have H8 fogs of this type on my F32. No resistors or anything. Plug and Play.

I know you probably don't want to change out your light housing, but doesn't hurt to stay informed. |

all lights that are converted over from incandescent to led or hid, will flicker, but wont throw a code neccesarily. the reason is bmw sends a test signal down the line every once in a while. its checking for voltage. The only way to illuminate the flicker is to code out that bulb.
