hey guys, I was just talking to one of the venders on here about ordering the high beam h7r 55watt hid kit for my 2014 f30 now he said not able to unless I disable the drl. can someone shed some light on this...

Don't see what the drl has to do with the high beam aside from it being right below it

If u install it, better use a relay, or else it will cost you 2k in the future with the fem failure

why? the oem high-beam bulb is also rated at 55w. if its drawing the same amperage, there should be no concern. if the bulb was rated at something crazy like 100w, then for sure.
