Matching fog lights to the Xenon?
Hi,
I have a 2013 328i F30 with Xenon headlights and fog lights (non-M). But the foglights are very yellow compared to my Xenon and angel eyes. I want to match them, are there any LED-bulbs that works error free and with the same colour? If not, what colour temp should I use? Anyone who has done this? Thanks! |

Hi,
I haven't changed to LED , but what i did was to change the standard bulbs to Phillips Diamond Vision 5000k and the colour temp between the Xenons and spots is much closer now and don't have to worry about errors and overheating LED's. |

These are 6000K LED from eBay on the right vs the GP Thunder 7500k on the left (so freaking yellow!!). I don't get how the GP Thunder can be anywhere near 7500K but whatever. Unfortunately, one of the fog light bulbs was different from the other so I'm gonna have to send it back, but I'll take a picture at night to see if it's too white

Here's the difference at night. Sorry for the crappy pics but was in a hurry. There's just a huge difference in color and output. These match much better than the others

Do they match the OEM Xenon perfectly or are they more blueish than the Xenon? |

Are these worth it on the halogen housing? I have been debating purchasing LED OEM ones, but if these are that good I might get them. I use my fogs during precipitation low visibility a lot so I need them to be worth a while.

I have purchased a CREE LED H8 bulb for my fog lights. But I can't find any info on what to code, did you need a resistor for it to work? |

I guess you might be able to get rid of the error message if you throw some resistors on. You could try that and see how it works |
