F30 M Sport interior door trim
I'm curious to know if the LCI door trims that are colored like the strip on the dash, could be fitted on the preLCI model.
Is there any difference if the car is equipped with interior light package? |

Not unless you are extremely skilled at breaking off and re-doing plastic welds. Those pieces are attached to the door panels that way. Now you might be able to replace the whole door panel with an LCI one...that's possible. If it worked that would be one expensive mod for the blue stripe.

See picture below. The factory welds ie circular black welds are near impossible to replicate once you removed. I added HK tweeter brackets to the rear doors and managed to glue it becos there were vertical plastic stumps to glue to the rear panel. However, you can see that it's going to be tough to glue those factory welds back to the panel.
You can go to Aliexpress.com or Taobao.com to look for the Color strips that goes over the existing plastic strips or as some said, wrap them instead. |

These could be fitted to non-LCI no problem, I wanted to order the estoril blue matte oem part but it's not in production at the moment. I couldn't find any wrap colour that looks exactly the same as the dash accent trim, so I'm patiently waiting them.

For the faint of heart or for people that don't want to remove their door cards. Looks like it says something about LWB model only on some of the colors, so not sure what that is about...

Yes, they sell them, but they are plastic welded into place...and some people don't want to take them out and try to epoxy or reattach them back into place. I am doing mine soon, but I plastic weld all the time, I just haven't had time to do it.

Finally had time to work on the accent trim. This is the rear painted and reinstalled. Not too bad to do. Will post more pics in my build thread when I am finished...with better pictures.

Just to answer the original question, yes, the F30 pre-LCI and LCI door lighting strips are the same numbers and compatiable if someone wants to simply or a set in the new LCI Color Schemes.
