Headlight bulbs (Halogen H7) won't "click" when installing

Guys, I'm just wondering if anybody have ever had any issues with installing H7 halogen bulbs (mine is 2014 F30 halogen)?

My car's left headlight fits perfect with a "click" that I felt when installing the bulbs, while my right headlight won't give me any "secure" feeling. It just doesn't have that click, bulbs keeps on wiggling, and position is not centered when looking from the front of my car no matter what I tried (I did pull all 2 metal tabs to tighten them), I even tried to swap bulbs from left to right and my left headlight still clicks, and right one doesn't.

Any help or advice would be highly appreciated! Sorry for my sub-par English.

yup the assembly from Germany is not of very high quality. This is another **** where BMW rips us off, cheap headlight assemblies, unfortunately if the housing is nylon, it might not snug up, I have tried 4 different style of lights in my car, (same as yours) and have the same issue, just the other side.. tch tch tch, bmw.. 47000 dollars and you put a housing that dosent belong on a huynadi accent!

Pop the retainer out and bend the clips to where they will hold. I learned this when I was going through bulbs left and right trying to find one I liked. The clip loses its original shape when you take the bulbs in and out.

Seems like it might be worth a try. Do you have any guide on how to pop the retainer out?

you'll have to take the tire off so you can get a good look into the housing. But you'll see there are 2 clips holding the retaining ring onto the housing, take a small flat head screwdriver and pry the 2 smalll clips back just enough to where the whole ring will come off, then push them back down when you go to put the clip back in.

Hmmm, seems like removing tire will be such a hassle for me since I live in apartment with inclined parking garage, and street parking in downtown is just impossible. Just bring it to the shop, lol.
