light beam aiming

I just tried my high beams and noticed the beam pattern on the driver side is pointing to the left way to much, I have adjusted it a bit down with the turn adjustment screw at the top of the housing, but where is the side to side adjustment?

the one above the light is for highbeam up and down, the one closest to the fender is adjustment for the low beam .

...are you sure?

The HID/Xenon headlight is a single bulb.

The manual has it correct - the one toward the inside of the car adjusts the vertical alignment, and the one closest to the fender is horizontal adjustment. However, what I've noticed is that the vertical adjustment screw seems much more sensitive (aka. turn a little bit, and you can literally see the light beam moving up and down) than the horizontal adjustment. I've tried the horizontal adjustment a couple times and had to turn quite a bit to see a more obvious difference. Adjusting low beam affects the high beam as well.

Just be sure to park your car in a dark area, preferably facing a brick wall of some sort. I believe the recommended distance is 25 ft from the wall. That way you can use the wall as a guide (or you can use tape to mark where your beams are hitting).

I'm having a little bit of an issue with my headlight alignment as well - the driver side beam seems to be aimed toward the center of the car, so I've been trying to adjust it. I'm in the city so it's been hard for me to find a good spot to do really clean adjustment....
