amp for hifi
i have a f30 with base audio.
With the Kicker Audio's Amp, would it improve sound quality? usually adding an amp to audio improves sound for speakers and earphones.. If so, then please help me choosing an amp that would work with my car from Kicker audio? thanks

I installed the Bimmertech amp and i'm very happy with it!
Plug and play and such an improvement over stock hifi! Takes about 30min to install for the first time! I can highly recommend it! |

You can always swap the bimmertech amp again for the stock when you sell your car and then install the bimmertech again in your new one. It's a little pricier than the Kicker amp of 200 usd but it's proven and you get a lot of support on this community if you go bimmertech and it's a solid investment in your audio upgrade. Don't know what the Kicker amp will do for your music quality, haven't heard anything about this brand so i don't judge, but just think if it's worth 200 usd + installation etc. Good luck! |

thanks for the reply. I can get my hands on Kicker system for lower price so i'll be going with kicker brand.
Any audio experts please help me with which one would fit 2012 328i bmw. I have no knowledge in this area. From my research, it seems that i would need the tweets and door panel speaker for surround sound system effect and clear sound stage. So please recommend me some products from Kicker! ps. i called local shop that carries Kicker and they said i couldn't just get the speaker because of impedence and whatnot. I would have to get the entire speaker and amp swapped out.. is this true?

whoisthis, do yourself a favor and listen to the last post. You're being very close minded in this and if you actually took a little time to do some research you would see that the Bimmertech amp is clearly the way to go. You have no clue what you are talking about and only insisting on Kicker. They don't make a plug and play system and would have to cut wires and such. Just my .02

Kicker is a terrible product. I would not put one in my car if it was free and I had a POS car.
Seems like you came here to tell everyone that you're putting a Kicker amp in your car - not ask for advice. If you can't even tell if your local shop is giving you good advice then you're not really in a position to ignore the advice of people on here who have done this already and have real-world experience of what you're trying to do. You bought a nice (not cheap) car so buy a nice (not cheap) amp to put in it. The Bimmertech amp is definitely worth the wait. |
