Paddle conversion switching module

Im trying to switch from my stock to m3 paddles. I took off the airbag and tried to plug and play but getting the wires plugged in was too difficult because they were tightly snugged. This is why I am trying to just switch the module for the two paddles without any wire plug ins. I cant seem to separate the module from the paddle. I kbow tht there is a clip tht i need to push or remove but cant find it. Can anyone help?

there is a small horizontal pin you need to remove.
edit: it's one sided, you need to press it from top or bottom i forgot which side.
