Side Skirt Vinyl over Non-M Performance Part
Hi there,
I'm considering the idea of purchasing the black side skirt vinyl/sticker (without the m-performance logo) to put on top of my non-m performance side skirt. I have an alpine white BMW F30 Has anyone done this? If so, can you post a picture please? Do you think it will look stupid without the actual m-performance part? Thanks! |

i dont think it would look bad but the curve at the end will be random since it will not follow any contour line of the car. there are reps on ebay of them for like $25 so id start there if i were you.

I just thought about it, and why not order some vinyl yourself, and with the aid of knifeless tape, mimic the m performance side skirt. So that way you can dictate where you want the curves and where to end

I was talking about this a while ago and a couple guys on here were going to order them. You can get the viynl cutout from Bimmian or other places for a hundred and some change. i did a photoshop of it and a rear diffuser to go with the lines on my 2015 428xi gran coupe Alpine white.

So far looks like nobody has? I say go with the $25 eBay replicas and see how it is. Worst case you are out $25 and some time spend on install. Not so bad.

Go for it! And post pics lol. However I'm not sure if I'd include the m performance sticker or not... That might be going a bit too far?

I bought a kit myself to attempt usage on the stock side skirt. I just haven't had the time to properly wash off my car, but will try it out sometime in the next few weeks. I'll post pics once done.
The kit I have also came with optional M performance stickers, but I don't want to be a poser, so I'm going to leave those off. |

Just installed one side. Currently taking the bubbles out though. Unfortunately my panel is in pretty bad shape so some of the imperfection from all the rock chips and whatnot is showing if you look very very close. But from afar I think it looks good. What do y'all think?

I put the m performance lettering on and it actually provides a better contrast. I'm gonna end up taking it off later on but it's not too bad. |
