Keeping rear diffuser matte black - apply a clear coat?

Hello all,

I was reading a bit, and it looked like some people would get a spray can of clear coat and spray their matte black diffuser. Is this a good step to take or are people just taking them as is and installing?

Thanks!

Which one did you end up ordering? Also how's the fitment? Read your reply on the other thread that you didn't require putting it on ramps or a lift. Sounds like an easy install

I went with europartsautostore. Figment is quite good though you have to bend the piece into place (doesn't come curved to that of the stock bumper). I can supply pics of you want but ifs at fit is 90-95% up close. 99% if you're just standing behind it. It's very good.
