Bohls is far nicer and not much more expensive. Although, the DPF is not in a place that you can actually see it anyways. I guess if you like nice handmade stuff it is worth it. Or if you plan to keep your car for over a decade. I have a hard time making up my mind as well.
And that Unobtanium stuff is just sick. Check out their Instagram. Their prices are $$$$ JAJAJA! |

AArodriguez was selling the full buzzken exhaust (scr delete to tips)for 1700 no tax, free shipping. I think bohl was around 700 for his pipe. They are all worth I suppose, it depends what you are looking for. |

You guys are gonna piss off a certain excellent fabricator and then he won't make anymore downpipes. This would be a huge loss to our community.
I didn't buy his product but it was because I was in the process of buying an inferior product from Scotland and didn't know it because it was a package deal. If I had this to do over again, there is no doubt which one I would buy. |

I cannot comment on anyone else's downpipe but Bohls welding skills are top notch. I've seen my pipe made in front of me and he takes good care of what he makes.

2deer never said a thing to this effect. Chew my butt out if you wish. The guy has done some stand up things here. I'll attest to this. He repaired an Ecotune pipe for me when he had no obligation to. I was thankful and he did it for cheap too. No sir, no obligation is required but respect is due. He even removed the pressure sensor tubes when I didn't ask for them to be as he was keeping me out of trouble that another guy had from Ecotune pipe burning up his harness. Black pressure hoses had come off and hot exhaust roasted some wiring.
Before any of these options of pipes were out there, most of us here were friends. I'm not forgetting that now that the business only talk is going. Customer service is something you can't put a price on friends. |

Very pleased with the product and service I received from Bohl. Top notch guy and at his core he is an enthusiast just like us doing art like fabrication on the side for us diesel heads here. He is a stand up guy.

/package but had no faith that I would ever see it. I had mine and Puerto Ricans pipe done before the downpipes made it here from overseas.. I had my personal 335d (with 14,000 miles) apart and 6 feet in the air for 2 months, building the flanges and doing all r&d at night after my day job,it was a year and a half later that anything else was even offered. So the butt hurt comment, from the other guy... nope not butt hurt at all, i feel I've done a decent job at everything. I developed the North American downpipe, hybrid turbos for North America, and built the 6hp ZF trans all in less than a year, while working a full time job. sounds like I developed an entire aftermarket of products, doesn't it? I come on here for a hobby, and to help people get that same feeling I get when I drive my own cars. Real buzzken vs Bohl comparison Same piping and flex couplers. VIBRANT Black mig welds vs rainbowed TIG welds Generally Same bung arrangement Very similar you see.. Buzzken is local to Vibrant performance so he can get the stuff cheaper than me and I'm sure he uses their mandrel benders/tooling for things too.. |

Yes Bohl dpipe has been on my car the past 2-3 yrs and no leaks or breakage. The job is superb and was lauded very well made by other car enthusiast here in Puerto Rico. Ecotune's dpipe looked subpar and those whom had it are somewhat displeased. RS Speed and Ecotune had a downfall and some got screwed on it, if there is another company doing the dpipe so be it, but both cannot be compared because as i believe NONE of us have both pipes so whats the issue here? let it be and enjoy what or whom you bought the pipe.
