DIY on Liqui Moly Diesel Purge?

Hello All-

I am a new 335d owner - 2011 Le Mans Blue with Oyster leather with the M-Sport pkg. The clock just turned over 35,000 miles so I am starting to take preventative measures. I ordered the 6 month diesel maintenance kit from Bavauto the other day and am looking into how to use the Diesel Purge fluid directly into the fuel intake. Does any body have a link to a DIY? I haven't been able find one and these fancy high pressure diesel fuel systems are beyond my skill set (for now).

Appreciate any help on the subject or other suggestions for a car with this kind of mileage.

Thanks

It's not like an old 300D where you can hook it up and have it dump right into the injectors. Recommend pouring it into the gas tank when the level is low, that will have the most impact.

What is the purpose of the product? It's highly unlikely it will help with carbon build up.

Correct, it may help clean the injectors and combustion chambers but will not remove carbon from the intake and valves which our cars are famous for.

If you're not having problems or throwing codes yet you could consider either one of these every oil change or every other oil change. Just make sure you do them right before an oil change since they will contaminate your oil.

Hard to know what to make of that video, which by the way could have been two minutes long. So some smoke comes out of the exhaust, OK, got it. I guess it is a bit much to expect them to open up the intake system before and after.
