Since the description specifically states it was designed for ZF 6HP transmissions, I'm inclined to say it'll work just fine.

However, with ZF LifeGuard6 only $20/L now, the cost savings would not be substantial enough for me to justify trying something different.

Amazon link has the Ravenol at $15 with $10 shipping making it over $25/L. Do you have a different source? Actually, even amazon's ZF LifeGuard6 is only $26 with Prime shipping.

I'd recommend going with the full kit as it's a pretty good value: http://www.thectsc.com/products/oil-...ce-186-61.html

For less than $5 difference per litre I would go with the genuine ZF fluid. As remlemasi stated, get the kit from thectsc and be good.
