Alcantara Pieces on Oyster.
Hey Guys,
Today I picked up the first pieces of my interior that has been covered in Alcantara. Credit to Wasko for some ideas, thank you sir. Im lucky to have a close friend whom I worked with for a number of years, Has his own Automotive Upholstery business - https://www.facebook.com/Trims-By-Sh...06996/?fref=ts I wanted to break up the Alcatara with a little something and this is what we come up with, I really like the end result and I hope you guys do too. They are not the best photos and the lighting is a tad off but when the rest is complete ill nab some more. Let me know what you guys think! |

Picked up the remaining pieces tonight from my good friend over at TrimsByShaun - http://www.trimsbyshaun.com.au/
He really has done a great job with each of the pieces. I suggest if anyone is in the Act/Sydney area and needs any upholstery done get in contact with Shaun, he is the best in the business. Any way now onto some pics! These are taking with my s6 at night so they are not that great, if any one wants any particular angles so they can see if they want it done with their oyster combo let me know and ill take some more. Let me know what you guys think! Last edited by Amack; 04-07-2016 at 05:43 AM.. |

Darn that looks good! I ordered Alcantara steering wheel, should be in here next week or so. I figured the silver won't go well with it, so i was going to wrap it in flat\dry carbon fiber, but wrapping that bit in Alcantara? That is brilliant.

thanks for all the positive feedback guys!
the steering wheel peice was tricky. The large centre bit of it had to be filled down to allow for the extra thickness of the alcantara. So if you plan on doing it yourself highly recommend filing it a little so it fits perfect. |

I plan on possible doing this project as soon as Saturday. I have taken everything out now.
For the shiftier center piece, did you take out the silver trim from the housing, if so, how the heck did you get those rings off? Or can you wrap it with it placed on there? |
