Pre lci useing hard jack plug to connect phones To Aux in 335, I get a squiking noise when I use spotify on my wifes phone but not mine, her galixcy my iphone, could be device you are connecting to even if works great elsewhare, her and my phone play fine in x5 through blue tooth go figure

Is the device connected to the aux being charged by the car?
If it is, it is probably a ground loop which you can get rid of by using a ground loop isolator. |

Kensington cable with a lightening adapt or attached (20 pin to lightening). I have used the cable for 4 years. I have played music via the AUX with an iPhone 6s since the phone was released. I'm playing normal AAC files. All of a sudden I cannot make this high pitch go away. I think I may have to bite the bullet and rip the AUX out - swap it over and try diagnose it. The cable can plug in to the 12v but I never really charge the phone unless it is a long trip.
