Pro fi full exhaust install

Definitely very happy with this exhaust. It came from Europe in 5 days by DHL to NY. The welds are awesome and good European quality stainless steel. The down pipe was included which I think was a great bonus. I did how ever need to weld another egt sensor bung.. In Germany they said they tune it out but in Athens US we need it. All the bends are on point. The only issue was the tranny exhaust hanger didn't mount up but all the rest did. I did have to use some of the stock exhaust brackets that pro fi uses to make it all fit tight. I'm in the middle of my CBU cleaning. Pain in the azzzz. I went with the BPC 2+hot.
Resizeing these pic is a pain.

Thankyou very much. Yeah, I've used it on a turbo Mustang, I had and I worked really good to keep heat away from the engine bay. All my cloth vacume and boost hoses were really dry rotted and brittle. I went with contitech blue/red. 3.5mm hoses

JOHNNYBRAVO1, set up looks great.

Even though I currently have the Bohl dp installed, I am seriously considering getting this full exhaust system from profi. The quality seems to be good and you cannot beat the price.

Did the exhaust come with all needed hardware? If not, what else did you have to get to complete the install?

You mentioned adding another bung. My dp has two bungs, so I assume the profi set up only had one?

Thanks for the photos.

No everything bolted up nicely, you will have to use the stock exhaust brackets.. I have a ton of pics for the complete intall. I did have to weld on the egt bung.. but i got them off ebay> cummins egt bung. For some reason the euro/tranny hanger mount is different then the US, but I was able to fab up the hanger to work... I wanted to post a ton of pics but because of the forum, it was a pain in the butt re sizeing them all.. The pics on here don't really do the pro fi exhaust justice. I can email you all the full pics. If you send pro fi a message I'm sure they can weld in an EGT bung.. Pro fi said in Europe they tune out the egt sensors. But with the BPC tune Bob needs it... I also have the BOHL down pipe. I didn't want to buy cut and chop and exhaust system that might not fit.. this was plug and play with a great down pipe. Jess's pipe is great.

You should definitely consider holding off until iaknown gets his exhaust system out...it will bolt to the downpipe...save you a ton of work.

No doubt. And that is the preferred course of action. But all things have limits, including my patience and the empty spaces in my SCR. I have been running sans DPF for about 6 K miles. My idea was to keep the stock exhaust intact for future, otherwise I will just gut the SCR.

Decisions, decisions ...

I hear that! Im in the same boat though Im just starting running without the DPF. But at 6k, your SCR has got to be nearly clogged isnt it? I mean, at this point arent you better off saving money and gutting it? Is there any value left to the SCR? Can you clean it once its been clogged?

You may be right. I know that I have to do something in the next month or so

Hoping to have an update soon as the distributor is going to the factory. Sorry guys, I want this exhaust as much as you do...unfortunately we're at the mercy of the factory.

Sorry correction, buzzken down pipe. Which is just a paper weight now. At the time I called Mr jesssss, he didn't have any in stock. Every thing about this PRO FI exhaust is top notch. All TIG welds and mandrel bends are awesome. Exhaust really was plug and play except for the EGT sensor, which PRO FI refunded me.. Even the down pipe fit great... The price for the exhaust with shipping can't be beat. There wasn't many options for a plug and play exhaust and im glad I picked PRO FI. Pro fi's 335d rips too. I have a ton of pics of the complete install, but I hate resizing every pic

These are the replacement hoses I used.. the braided is contitech which I sprayed with plastidip to add a rubber coating to stop the dry rot. The blue and red, I also used which is from continental Germany 3.5mm. I got off ebay.. if you pm me I can send you the link.

No I hope to have a sound clip by next week, after I install the meth and have the 2nd meth bung welded and map sensor. All done.. re sizing these pics really sucks. 2- AEM 500 nozzles and the brass for the map sensor

Why the hoses? I assume it was a "why not replace them while I have stuff pulled off the engine decision."

Chief you've been MIA for a while. My hoses were brittle and outsides were falling apart. Plus just like you said, everything was off and why not re fresh.
