Does anyone know how to disable speed variable volume

how to turn off the speed variable volume on the stereo? Honestly such a nuisance. Slowing down, speeding up, i'm constantly messing with the volume...

You can do two things... first way is to turn the car on... hold down the M button i believe on the radio for about 5 seconds... it should come up and say speed sensitivity level and a number... you can switch that up and down... if that doesn't work let me know because there is another way to do it...

This is the only way I know how to do it. It works.

FYI: If my memory serves me right ( Please Correct me if im wrong).

If you have nav all you do is push and hold SEL as soon as you turn on the car. next use L and R arrows to choose GAL option. then push a number 1-6 to choose the auto vol strength. finally escape out ex push settings.

The beauty is the engine sounds drowning out the radio... at this rate, I can only go faster!

So you got your speed sensitive engine turned on I see..

I like the speed sensitive radio actually. I didn't realize it until I drove my mustang and had to keep adjusting the volume
