BPC Does it again! New Stage II+ 121rwhp 175rwtq STOCK TURBOS, NO METH

UPDATED WITH NEW NUMBERS

Our new update to the Stage 2+ owners and anyone else looking to make the more HP & TQ out for your 335D / X5 35D. Our latest beta tune just put down some crazy numbers on our dynojet. 358rwhp / 559rwtq and as stated above thats a gain of 121 horse power & 175 torque to the wheels, more power than ANY other tune out for the M57 US spec. No meth injection or Hybrid turbos

I think the stock turbos are almost maxed out with this tune

MODS:
BPC NEW Stage II+ tune
BPC Downpipe
EGR block Off plates
Forge boost pipe
gutted SCR Filter
Stock intercooler

Blue Line: Stock
RED Line: BPC Custom tune.

Ok, NOW I want to send my Ecu in for 2+ upgrade! Damn still have my scr in place, "Dave, oh Dave....where is that exhaust????"😎

Bob would there be any benefit to running this latest rendition with a MAF delete? Any side effects to MAF delete? I.e. Higher fuel consumption....

Thanks guys. As a tuner, working on many different setups exposes me to more information. Having so many of these cars on the dyno and the data that has been sent to me remote has allowed me to fix and optimize the software & tune maps. The more data I receive the better I can optimize the tunes.

Great numbers! I have a question. What's the cause of the little torque dip @ 2900 RPMs?

Thanks The dip is where the LP turbo switches to the HP turbo

That's amazing but isn't that well beyond the recommended torque limit of the transmission?

Have you seen what happens to the trucks when they go over 700lb. But that didn't stop them from going higher. First we need to get the transmission tuned, then see what breaks.

Bob, on that Stage II+ tune, where it gets smoky -

Is there ANYTHING that can be done to reduce the smoke? Are there any exhaust equipment options which can done to help with that - reduce the smoke maybe at the very back of the exhaust system? Just curious.... I want the tune, but I hate the idea of the smoky mess back there.

Yes, pull power, our stage II just has a small amount of smoke when you hit the gas and makes 30hp less. With a diesel, more fuel = more power, along with that is the smoke. Im getting ready to do another hybrid setup, im going to see what power it will make with the stage II tune and then do the two plus. If the hybrids pick up 30 - 40hp with out the smoke, that would be the best option for you.

Bob,

Are you sure that dip isn't the waste gate opening?

I thought the HP (high pressure) turbo was the smaller turbo and that maxes out around 1800 rpm before the bypass valve opens.

sorry about that, yes you are right about the turbos, got them mix up. Dont think it its, I've data logged the boost with the dyno and holds the same boost from 2000 - 4000rpm

You definetly can't feel that dip in the car. BPC Stage 2-3 just keeps on pulling!
