Best way to improve the sound of the 335D for under $500???
I've searched and not come up with much. Any ideas on the best way to improve the sound of the 335D for under $500?
Maybe someone has an intake with a heat shield they want to sell me that sounds good?

There's really not much out there to do so, other than doing the ABC delete.
You could always just go to Autozone and order a cone filter and stick it on.

There is nothing you can do with the emissions system still intact. And you can't remove the emissions system for less than $500. So, the short answer is no.
Spend about $3k on a tune, downpipe, and exhaust and you'll get what you're after from this car.

I'm pretty sure you can buy a sub-$500 1985 325e with 300k+ miles on it only running on 5 cylinders with a rusty mid-pipe and catback that you can just jiggle until it falls off. Then you can blast around with open M20 headers and have all the fun in the world. Doesn't sound too terrible if you like bleeding ears.
You can also give no f**ks while doing it. Ask me how I know.
