So here are the installation pics. I started a new thread with a new title to make it more convenient. Before is black springs and after red springs.

Not sure about that, I suspect you will just need some more suspension parts in order to increase range of adjustment. There are some posts around which talk about the factory recommended lowering settings with the MP coilovers. Standard suspension is set up flat front to rear heights, but MP is 5mm lower at front vs rear. So based on my measurements the rear is at least 15mm lower and the front at least 20mm lower. However my car had only done 8km when dealer installed. I will remeasure heights when car goes in for run-in service to see if suspension heights have settled after some running.

Any reason why you choose the MP suspension over KW V3? I don't see any EDC stuff on the suspensions. So, the comfort/sport/sport+ mode doesn't actually change the settings on the suspension?

It is a passive system just like the factory stock suspension. 2 way, compression and rebound as well as height adjustable but all manual. Last edited by M+M; 07-19-2016 at 05:47 AM.. |

Handling is completely flat at road speeds no understeer though my car is not fully run in yet, but on a couple of corners I know well, it handles good. I think the slightly nose down set up helps whereas the standard set up is level ride height front to back. |

I have this setup. Yes, KW is the supplier for the Mperformance suspension. It is essentially a KW V3 built to BMW specs.

I was actually able to get it cheaper than the KW V3 which sells for about $2500 USD. I paid $2000 at my dealership. The retail for the BMW performance suspension is normally about $2500 but I asked if they would price match another dealer online that was selling them for $2000 and they did. The main difference between the 2 as far as I know is the KW V3 can go a little lower on the height adjustment so if this matters to you it may sway your decision. I chose to go with the BMW suspension for 2 reasons: warranty will be intact if installed by a BMW dealer, and if I ever sell the car it can be perceived as a factory option (it was on the original invoice with the car) as opposed to modified which some buyers are weary of when buying used. Hope this helps.
