Dynavin on L7

Hey guys, fairly new to electrical work on my car. I've read a little about aftermarket head units. I've read enough to just see that dynavin is the only logical aftermarket HU without any risky wiring. Is dynavin the only company that provides this?

What should I expect with wiring this to my 2011 bmw 328xi with h/k Logic 7?

The things i'm afraid of are power spikes and burning a module, or setting off a warning light.

Thank you

I'm not trying to be rude at all , there's a gigantic dynavin thread in the audio page with the gentleman by the name of Jeff . There are post of reviews diy and every software and issue run ins and corrections inside that thread .

I was in the market for one too but I want to repair my logic 7 instead .

I don't want to flood the thread asking if there's any other alternatives to a L7 HU. I'm reading up on the thread right now though.

Ooh got ya , since I've been looking I think they do have alternatives but most people go with that one due to it's integration with CAN and its closeness to an Oem look .

There are no alternatives unless you want to

There are no alternatives unless you want to loose the L7 amp.
Or you are a brilliant Engineer that can come up with a coding
device like dynavin did to translate analog audio to BMW optical code. At least that is where is was the last time I looked.

I honestly don't think there's anything else out there like dynavin. I really would love smart phone integration, So i'm going to shell out around $800 to have it.

Even if I lose the L7 amp, i'm pretty sure I'm going to run into a lot of errors, especially since it's a fiber optic line. Like I said, I probably have no other option right now then to shell out money for it...(of course not buying anything but nah)
