4B6A

Just a heads up to anyone interested. If you run straight DI water in your Urea tank, you will receive error code 4B6A. It hasn't caused any lights to set but it does show up on INPA.

Nah. It's NOx sensor plausibility. The DDE compares NOx levels before and after the SCR. If you run water instead of DEF, obviously there's no reduction in NOx, hence it tells you so.

The reason I ran straight DI in my tank was i had a temperature sensor fault and tank heater fault. I had assumed that the salt crystals may have formed and caused an issue with the heater. The heater problem went away but the temp sensor still plagued me. After replacing the tank thermistor, both problems have disappeared and i have been left with a plausibility fault. As soon as i get all the DI out of the tank, i will refill the tank with urea and should fix the remaining 4B6A.

Gotcha. Did you use the same thermistor I did? Get it inside the tank?
