Speakers Rattling

Alright so I have an 08 e92 with the logic 7 system and every once in a while my front passenger speaker would rattle with bass but it would always stop after a second. Recently, however, that speaker won't stop rattling. I thought it was a loose screw or something so I opened the door panel and tightened all the screws holding the speaker. And it helped a little but not much. Is there any way to fix this or is this a blown speaker?

Looks like you need to swap it to tell.

Looks like you need to swap it to tell.
You could reverse sides (from door to door)
if you want to know for sure before buying
another speaker.

That's a good idea. I'll try that then report back

Update

So after switching out my speakers I've found out that both my speakers look fine and sound Normal in the driver side door so I sat down with the speaker and played bass heavy music while sitting in the passenger seat so I could figure it out and turns out that it's my right underseat sub woofer that is the problem. Can I take it out for the time being? Is this a good excuse to upgrade to get some bavsound ghost subs? (I want something PnP)

There are better and cheaper things to put in

There are better and cheaper things to put in
than bavsound under seats and doors. You can get
a set of the mbquarts right now from vm innovations for around
230 on the cheap side. And they include doors and floors.
there are probably close to 10 companys that make plug and
plays or near it for these now.

Do you have a link for this? And will I have to get an aftermarket amp for them. Also are they easy to install?

It would be better with and amp but

https://www.vminnovations.com/Produc...wD7xoCUx3w_wcB

It would be better with and amp you might try them without one.
I would look to see if there are any reviews of them with a
stock L7 amp. They are advertised as plug and play.

What would you rate the installation difficulty for someone who has never messed with audio but is an experienced DIYer

Depends on how carefull you are?

Depends on how careful and patient you are ?
If you managed to the do the door swap without screwing
things up the floors are simpler. So that's the mechanical skill
part.
If you understand how to put together a home stereo system
the wiring is no more difficult.
The only wiring you have to think about is the crossover in the
doors factory wiring to crossover . crossover to tweeter and mid.

If you are doing and aftermarket amp in an L7 system that is a different
subject depending on what you want to amplify.

You would need a Technic Harness to do that without messing with your
factory harness and probably have to modify it a bit to do the front doors.

Well the setup I'm going for is one using the OEM L7 system with a rear sub with its own dedicated amp. I'm not an audiophile and am pretty satisfied with the L7 speakers so I'm not trying to redo my whole system. I'll probably do the setup where the rear sub enclosure sits on top of the battery. I just want something with a harder hitting low end (rear sub) while the underseats take care of the mids. I can't seem to find the link for the technic harness and I read in a post that he doesn't get on this forum anymore. Do you have the link for this and do you know a good cheap 10" or 12" sub/amp setup I can do to make this happen?

Also can I disconnect my right underseat woofer for now? Will it cause any problems if I play music with it disconnected? The sound it makes drives me insane

I know nothing about subs

I know nothing about subs
but here are some links

subwoofer threads

getting in contact with Technic seems hit or miss.

http://technicpnp.com/contact.html

I would discuss this with him if possible if you want to do the doors
with and amp also if you get and amp there are better speakers like
Jehnerts, Morels or Gladens if you have the bucks to spend.

My installation procedure for a Hi Fi kit shows the door and underseat
installation procedure in the high Fi section of the audio build thread.

Okay. Thank you. Do you think I'll have any problems if I temporarily remove or unplug the underseat woofer that's rattling and continue to use my stereo normally without it? Just till I order replacements
