Tough week....

I'm running behind in answering several people's emails but catching up quickly. I wanted to tell you guys about my week to:
A) Have a bit of understanding
B)Hopefully prevent future problems and keep people out of jail, it's not cool that someone's kids aren't going to have a dad at home for a while.

We've been in business almost 6 years and never had an issue with credit card fraud until a few weeks ago, someone had a bunch of stolen credit card info and went shopping with us several times using these cards. Thanks to a bit of luck and great organization of records we were able to track down the person that had received our merchandise.

On Sunday I flew to Montreal, had this person arrested and our merchandise recovered.

I flew back to Atlanta on Tuesday, got to do a few tunes on Wednesday and Thursday then had to deal with a funeral on Friday, a close Uncle died while I was in Montreal.

Exactly this. Unfortunately in today's culture we are being more and more conditioned to be receiving instant gratification either through response or parts receiving (think Amazon prime).

You shouldn't have to explain yourself in detail to anyone.

Holy cow, thats some vigilance! I worked in e-commerce for nearly a decade, so I know the anger associated with fraud.

Jeez. That's craziness. Good thing everything was sorted out but still. It sucks there are people out there that have the mindset to use stolen cc info to purchase goods. Sheesh.
