My M4 track build at Laguna Seca

Hey guys, just wanted to share some photos of my car at MRLS! I came from an e92 M3 and I've had the M4 for about a year and a half now. Long story short, I started off tracking it pretty stock and then gradually added parts until I eventually did a full build. I couldn't be happier as it is incredibly fun and capable on track.

Some of the track relevant mods are:
VF Stage 2 Tune
Eventuri Intake
ER Charge and Downpipes
AA Full exhaust
Moton 3 way clubsport with true coilovers in the rear
BBS FI-R GTS Spec with SC2s
AP Stillen BBK
Alekshop cage
Recaro Pole Positions
Sway Bars
RKP GTS Wing and Rear diffuser

I did some other stuff like Bavsound, clear bra and ceramic pro (saved me from a ton of wear and tear on track), OSSDesigns headlights and other random cosmetic bits.

Serious shuotout to SonicMS, they did an awesome job building my car. Drew was very helpful and knowledgeable as I flipped back and forth between parts. Truly an amazing shop.

Those headlights sigh

Thanks for looking!

Nothing that great, I started running with DSC off so out of fear I've slowed it down. Best was mid 1:4xs but I've got a LOT of room for improvement.

Bought the car in Illinois and I didn't want to give up the plate since I've had it since high school haha. Plus no front plate tickets in California!

I ran it in sport and at first no but literally MDM was kicking in everytime I got on the throttle. I turned it off for half of day one and all of day two. Not going to lie, breaking traction at 80 is terrifying. The car has way more power than I can safely use for now lol. Throttle modulation is even more important.

They're outstanding! I was skeptical at first (I rode in a few different suspensions, a lot felt a bit too harsh) but it is incredibly compliant on the street. It actually feels better than stock albeit you do feel more road imperfections. At speed though , it feels a lot more planted. Car feels a lot more responsive and "alive" in the corners.

Yeah - I have the hex stage 2 with a similar wheel/suspension setup. sports+ throttle is extremely aggressive and I was wondering how it performs on the track w/o TC. Did you try sports+?

I did not, sport was already causing the back to break pretty quickly if you got on the throttle too much. Pulls way harder though, the straights and going up the hill was noticeably faster.
