Whats the loudest 8" subwoofer with the most bass for the underseat replacement?

Looking to add some bass and looking to run some new underseat sub. Whats the most low bass underseat subs? I will be adding a technic wire to run a separate mono amp jl audio 500/1 to power them. Looks like it may be the earthquake sw8 from the research if installed correctly. Not really looking to go with a trunk sub if i dont have to but im looking for similar bass a single 10" or 12" subwoofer can produce.

I have Jehnerts and they are solid midbass, but they do not supply oomphy-like bass. You need a trunk sub for that.

Thats really hard to answer as it also depends on the amp driving them and what frequency you are pumping into them.

Do you want them for mid bass or low bass?

Low bass maybe something similar to what a single 10 or 12 inch sub can do

I'm also interested in this. The oem subs I have now hit pretty low for 8's so I just want something louder with a big range of bass. I don't have a ski hole and my seats don't fold down(most retarded option ever) so I feel like a lot of bass will be loss if I do a trunk setup.

OEM amp is the weakest link. You will not get louder bass by only replacing the underseat speakers. You need an amp that can put out more juice.

I have Jehnerts, too. Powered by Helix P-Six. Very happy with them. Send enough power to them and they perk right up.

Oh yeah, I agree. I already planned on getting an amp if I upgraded the subs. Better, stronger subs would actually sound weaker with the oem amp because it wouldn't have enough juice to move the beefier speaker.

Thanks for the response guys. I just went with a rear trunk sub instead since i got a good seal for one 12" rockford fosgate p3 in a ported box with a rockford prime 500/1 class D amp and Lc2i with wiring kit all installed for a good deal. Sounds good for me after some tweeking

Kicker is a pretty good option if you're trying to save money. Plus you get a cool sticker!

Can't go wrong with a corner box and a Jl or Alpine sub.
