I saw 4 or 5 M3/M4 in real life(prices are like 200k Dollars here in Turkiye)Colors were YMB,Sapphire Black,MG and Austin Yellow...They all looked awesome but Austin Yellow was truely a head turner(ıt was an m4) plus matches best with the lines and the spirit of the car...

Are you leasing or buying for the long term?

Lease: go with louder colours knowing you will return the car anyways. Easier to get tired of the louder colours so lease makes sense.

Buy: safer to go with the staple classic colours.

The standard F8x colors are a challenge.

BSM - it's black, so looks great when clean but it's brutal to maintain, and always looks dirty.

MW - white, shows the lines very well, but everyone drives a white car.

AY - To each their own, but driving Grey Poupon around isn't appealing to me.

YMB - Pastel blue isn't quite the blue I'd want for an ///M.

Tough choice. It'd be between MW and BMW from the above list, but probably MW due to the maintenance factor.

It is brutal, surprised BMW allows it.

I was also thinking about AY/SO but my fiancée just don't like this option, and thinking it will be hard to resell it after.

I voted AY for obvious reasons.

My only concern would be the ability to quickly resell, in which case MW is the safest bet followed by BSM.

That's what I hear on Rennlist all the time. Everyone says avoid colors like Miami Blue and Speed Yellow as that'll take forever to sell.

Meanwhile, I look at used 991.1's and they are honestly 80% black metallic, which does nothing for me (unless they had red interior maybe). So all those guys with black cars, when it comes time to sell, they have to compete against all those other guys with black 911's.

This is a good point.

Since OP has color at 65%, I'd go with AY. It really is a great color.

That's like Aw or MW with the F80/F82. I see much more whites on the used market for these cars.

I say forget resell and just buy what you really like.

MW is more "sporty" color for the cars in my opinion, SS is too official, in my mind it somehow connected with Mercedes
