USB directory not working
I've done some research and haven't been able to find help for this.
I've been using a 16GB flash drive fine with several music folders and maybe 8GB worth of songs. However, I just bought a 128GB flash drive and loaded a few folders. The two largest folders contain 2,700 and 2,500 each. In total I'm using around 60GB. I understand that indexing happens every time the car is started and that it can take a long time (my 25min commute home wasn't enough time apparently). My problem is that I cannot open any folders. After I start the car, and about 1 min of "loading," it automatically starts playing (after ~1 min of "Loading") inthe first folder. Pressing "directory" takes ~30 sec to show the folders. I can scroll through the folder list, but if I select a folder it doesn't do anything. It just sits there and ~1 min later it goes back to the track view. What's the problem? Does indexing need to finish? Are there too many songs? I know 128GB flash drives work as others have posted so. Cheers. |
