Anyone with LSD been to the drag stip

Im getting my Quaife LSD, 19"m6 reps, UUC sway, KWv3's, (thanks to Ron************ for the hook up) Ill be taking off the M6 wheels when I go to the track in favor of 17 inch wheels with nitto dr wrapped around them. I have UR DP's and CAI, V2.1 beta already and I notice that when I launch the car I get crazy wheel hop up front and my rear wheels just spin, anyone with LSD did you notice your times improve with LSD or any type of suspension upgrades, what was your best 60' time?

Thanks

Vince.

Wheel hopping the front is not making any sense, this is a rear wheel drive car... The LSD is gonna do wonders on an auto x track but not a whole lot on a dragstrip as both tires spin anyway when you launch...

I really really don't think that an LSD will give you that better of a time but it would be nice to see before and after times.

Or, I should say...it would be nice to see before and after 60 foots.

Sticky tires is what's key.

The reason I ask is because for some reason my car does not burn out. If I turn off the traction control by holding down dtc for 5 second and If Im stopped and hold the brakes and hit the gas the car will barely move forward and then just cuts the fuel and re-engages the traction control. Dont know why my car does that at the track I still get wheel spin but I am able to still pull off consistant 1.8sec 60' times. I want to see if LSD will help me with the wheel spin and launching the car.

I doubt the LSD is going to help much at this point for drag racing. Guys are already running 1.6 60foots on DRrs. As long as they are hooking, LSD isn't going to improve much on that. If they were spinning one tire, then you might see some benefit. The 6MT guys may benefit from the LSD since they can modulate the RPMs on the launch more.

If you've held the dtc button for 10 seconds so everything is off IT will NOT make much difference.

But if you run with any of the comptuer assisted traction aids on, then yes it will.

In our testing we know that the car cuts power massivley even whent the yellow light ISN'T flashing. LSD will help this.
