CPO purchase
Has anyone here ever purchased a CPO vehicle from an out of state dealer? I can't make it out to see the car in person, but it is low mileage and still under manufacturer warranty. Is it safe to purchase the car sight unseen? Photos look clean.

Let me tell you that CPO means nothing.
They say they do a 360 inspection of the car...well they don't. Major things like tires, brakes, windshield get inspected and really worn components will get changed. But they will much rather cover it up and let you claim the repair under warranty and charge you deductible. So make sure you get that car checked out as soon as possible after delivery. |

Good points. I guess the warranty will help cover major things, but cosmetic issues and body damage isn't covered by this. Anyone have any direct experience and had problems? How did it get managed?

Be rest assured that the car will be polished up inside and out. Any sort of wear and tear (internal and external) WILL NOT BE in the dealers pics. Never buy a car without having looked at it. |

Thanks everyone. I booked a flight to the dealer, planning on driving it back (as long as it all pans out). Any thoughts on what to look for with a used car (low mileage, about 3000 miles)? Another question, it's not "certified" because of the low mileage, should I be concerned about that? It's actually only about 6 months old.
