TCU Replacement
If I need to replace my TCU because it's faulty, is the swap with a replacement a simple plug and play or will the new TCU require coding? Same question for my satellite radio module....it's also faulty and needs to be replaced.

yes programming is required unless you got a car with identical options as a source and even then the satalite module has enabling codes. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85149 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1274065 See the coding subforum also. |

Thanks; looks like I may not replace my TCU after all because my Bluetooth works and I was only going to replace it for the BMW Assist, but now I'm reading BMW Assist is obsolete anyway.
