My 2011 335d has been getting this code about every other day.

I do notice that my turbos do NOT spin up. Either of them. Going WOT only means downshifts, with no turbo boost at all.

Anyone have any experience with that code, or ideas for me?

I know I'm going to have to take it into the shop, just trying to get some feelers as to what that code and combination of "no turbo" means and if anyone has seen that before.

A quick google search brought up a post on bimmerfest. It looks like it has something to do with the fuel injection. The other guy said the codes randomly cleared for no apparent reason. There's probably a BMW specific code that you need a special tool to get. Please report back with what you find out. Very curious to see what this is.

OK, I have more detailed codes now. Looks like maybe multiple problems noted, but they might all be caused by one issue:

493F - Presupply-pressure sensor, signal
4674 - Inject fuel-quantity monitoring
48A9 - Rail-pressure sensor, plausibility
3EED - Power management closed-circuit current violation.

So, I'll be off to the shop in a few days and will let the group know what was fixed. Thanks much.

It looks like a few codes all related to sensors in the fueling system. My best guess would be something related to these sensors not getting the correct amount of power for whatever reason(the 3EED code makes me believe this is likely the case here). I'm no mechanic though, so we'll just see what the shop says. Thanks for the update!

Quite interesting. These codes point into many different directions. The last one 3EED is an indication that an ECU is not sleeping correctly as the total current limit when everything is locked and quiet should not exceed 80mA. Those faults are hard to find.
The other 3 could be caused by a clogged fuel filter as they all have to do with fuel quantity and too low pressure after fuel filter. The inject fuel-quantity could also point to an air leak in the air mass supply or sensor fault.
Have you cleared all and see which ones come back first?
