Opinions wanted - Updated Race Pipe for BMW 335D and X3 35D

A few people have mentioned that the wished our pipe had more openings for use with water/meth injection so I'm considering adding a 2nd bung. Thoughts about this placement? Any reason to have 3 openings?

I thought the common idea was meth injection before iat. It seems doable to have a meth bung there but not ideal. Would make for a super simple install if it were there. I use my bung for a boost gauge. Is some of the older train of thought now debunked?

After IAT and before intake manifold is ideal.

I would've liked a second bung so I could use one for boost pressure reading and a second one for meth injection. One in front of the other would've been nice.

For those of us that already bought one, would there be the option to trade in our existing pipe for one with an extra bung?

I like that idea. I bought mine but haven't installed it yet. However, it might be easier just to take it to a welder and have them install a bung.

If the item hasn't been used yet, then no problem, the double bung pipes will be +$10.

I have a pretty strict "No used parts policy here", if the pipe isn't new in box and never installed I'd like to recommend you have it drilled and tapped.
