It's official, new owner - 2011 335d MSport

Hi folks,

Thanks again for helping me make this decision. I can certainly say that there is definitely a different feeling driving this car vs. my 13 VW Jetta TDI... Looking forward to joining the community.

Just a heads up, that's not an M-Sport. It's just the regular sport package. I made the same mistake when I purchased mine. Still a great looking car. Congrats!

Thanks Torqu3. Do you know what the m-sport suspension is then? That was in the VIN when I decoded it.

In 09 there isn't a single msport package, however the options are listed separately as msport suspension, seats, and wheels. That's at least how my build sheet is worded.

M-sport in 2011 came with the same Sport Suspension as others in 2009-2011. No difference. M-sport is just cosmetics.

Welcome!!! Great choice on a great car! Those wheels are very very nice-I almost bought a set through this forum for my car. It's a fast machine-my 328 cannot compare.

For 2011, compared to the Sport, the M-sport had different wheels, front bumper cover, and rear bumper cover. I think it may have included a different steering wheel with an embossed logo as well.

Welcome, very nice piece! My '12 Jetta, despite being tuned and feeling maybe smoother in straight line driving, is very much like an economy car compared to the power and torque of the 335D. No comparison if you eventually tune the D.

Different steering wheel, plus: brake handle, door sills, black headliner. Everything else is the same as Sport pack.
