Sport automatic transmission coding in Charleston?

Does anyone know who does coding for the 2TB "upgrade" for sport transmission in or around Charleston, SC? I hear it's about $200 or so and it's a wonderful upgrade.

Thoughts?

I coded my own using E-Sys to change the VO. But I'm a long way from Charleston (3+ hr. drive).

Actually no, not at all - but then, I've had a lot of experience with shall we say, "advanced" computer applications. Had to study the documentation and coding guides pretty good to get clear on the concept. What sort of makes you take a deep breath is that you're fiddling with your $50K+ car and you really don't want to click the wrong button.

All that aside, it is a little intimidating at first, but E-Sys usually tells you if something's wrong. There are a few "don't EVER do this" things, but aside from that, it's relatively straightforward. I always have my printed "guide" with me when coding to make sure I'm following the correct steps in the correct order.

VO (Vehicle Option) coding is a little more involved than FDL coding (features - simple things like digital speedo readout, removing the speedo "correction", and so forth). You always do VO coding first, as it will erase any custom FDL coding you've done previously. When FDL coding, you can read each module's data and save it to the hard drive, then disconnect and make your changes "offline", so to speak. That allows you to do it carefully and consult coding "cheat sheets" and whatnot before re-connecting and pushing the updated values into each module you're modifying.

Check the DIY and Coding section of this forum for more info and all the coding sheets and guides plus the required OBDII cable for F-chassis cars. That's where I got all my information. You can get links to download the E-Sys software and PSDZDATA Lite (code library) from ShawnSheridan. Merry Christmas, by the way!
